Richard “Rick” Smith has over 30 years’ experience in aviation maintenance in both the military and private sectors.
Rick’s aviation career began in the United States Air Force and then has held multiple A&P Mechanic, AOG Mechanic, Management, and Inspection positions for companies including Telford Aviation, Raytheon Aircraft Services, NetJets Aviation, and Jet East Aviation before joining C&L. Rick joined C&L Aviation Services in 2010 where has filled multiple roles and has been the Corporate Aircraft Production Manager since 2017.’
Rick holds a FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and has factory training on a number of Corporate and Regional aircraft, including Hawker, Challenger, and EMB 135/145. Additionally, Rick has experience with maintenance and the installation of various avionics suites and system types, including Collins, Honeywell, Garmin, etc.
