C&L’s flat rate exchange benefits operators by quickly providing an overhauled L-3 Avionics PS-835, ready for installation, at a considerable price reduction compared to purchasing a new unit.

The  L-3 Avionics PS-835 is a fully-enclosed power supply that provides continuous standby power for multiple emergency systems, such as self-contained gyro horizons, essential flight instruments, and other systems, depending on the aircraft type. The PS-835 Emergency Power supply is designed as a 24 VDC (nominal) emergency power source for prolonging the operation of a connected standby attitude indicator when the aircraft’s main power bus has de-energized. It is also designed to easily fit into the existing avionics shelf. 

The PS-835 should be inspected every 12 months, and it generally requires a full battery replacement and overhaul every year.
