C&L is an aircraft parts provider and Part 145 repair shop for regional and corporate aircraft
BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, has expanded its component repair facility with a new landing gear rating and wheel and brake capabilities. With this new rating, C&L provides landing gear overhauls for ERJ 140/145 and Citation series and will soon include E190 and Boeing 737. The new wheels and brakes capabilities allow C&L to offer repair and overhaul services for regional and corporate aircraft.
“Receiving the new rating and capabilities for our component shop demonstrates C&L’s ongoing dedication to aftermarket part support across various aviation sectors,” said Felipe Garcia, Component Shop Manager for C&L Aviation Services. “With our existing exchange gear services, the addition of in-house landing gear repair further strengthens our comprehensive offerings.”
C&L is also only one of a few repair stations in the U.S. providing landing gear, wheels, and brakes services in the regional aftermarket. Exchanges on landing gear, brakes, and wheels are available via sister company C&L Aerospace, ensuring quick turnaround times for customers.
As part of this expansion, C&L has acquired a state-of-the-art automated eddy current machine – the only one at a Part 145 repair station in New England. This automated eddy current machine provides C&L with non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on all corporate, regional, commercial, military, and cargo wheels.
