Charlie has over 30 years of Avionics experience with extensive knowledge in Avionics/Sales and modifications. He is highly skilled with electrical/avionics installations, with vast knowledge of multiple systems such as autopilots, electronic flight instrument systems, EGPWS, TCAS, integrated cabin management systems installations, ADS-B solutions, Wi-Fi connectivity, FANS-1A, (SBAS)-flight management systems, cockpit upgrades, controller-pilot data link communications (CPDLC), and more. His strong commitment to quality of service and ability to communicate directly with customers and vendors on the status of their installation projects and aircraft makes him an ideal professional to work with. Charlie has excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects, accurately document completed jobs to ensure proper man/hour tracking/billing, and maintain compliance with FAA rules and conformity to ensure proper installation procedures are being followed.
Previous to his employment with C&L, Charlie was Director of Sales with Precision Aircraft Services and the US Southeast Region Marketing Manager for Universal Avionics. He was also an entrepreneur for six years as the owner of CCAvionics, Inc. which provided modifications to a variety of corporate aircraft installing Universal, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, and Garmin avionics product upgrades.
Outside of the office, Charlie enjoys deep sea fishing in the gulf or bass fishing in the lakes near his home. He also comes from a musical family and has played guitar for over 45 years.
