An untapped service industry for aircraft owners and operators.
BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aviation Group is excited to announce the launch of their new AOGBnB service for aircraft under maintenance in our Bangor, Maine repair facility. C&L’s AOGBnB offers a practical, sustainable way to create revenue streams for owners and operators whose aircraft would otherwise be out of commission during scheduled maintenance operations by offering a convenient, managed short-term rental solution.
“C&L is committed to finding ways to maximize the value for our customers,” said Chris Kilgour, CEO of C&L Aviation Group. “When an aircraft can’t fly due to scheduled maintenance or upgrades, diversifying revenue streams can help sustain a customer’s operations. With AOGBnB, we’ve crafted a viable model that brings the short-term rental industry into the field of aviation.”
With AOGBnB, those traveling through the Bangor area can book overnight stays on any one of the aircraft currently under maintenance. Like the perks of traditional lodging, customers staying with AOGBnB will have access to a host of amenities. On-board capabilities such as aircraft lavatory (generally), in-flight entertainment systems, and even room service options will all be available, depending upon the maintenance stage. Current offerings for the pilot program include ERJ 145, Saab 340, Challenger 850, Dash 8, and various Cessna Citation business jets including XL, XLS, Sovereign, and Latitude. “When you think of it, it’s a no-brainer. Travelers get top-notch accommodations and customers benefit by the added revenue stream,” added Kilgour
AOGBnB expands the possibilities for customers and travelers alike, further demonstrating C&L’s continued commitment to putting customers first and exploring what is possible in the aviation industry.
