A new advancement in modern mechanic workwear
BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aviation Group is pleased to announce its expansion into aircraft industry workwear with the C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper. The romper is crafted with aircraft mechanics and technicians in mind – from its one-piece design, which cuts application time in half, to its patent-pending mechano-pocket, keeping tools conveniently located during all maintenance projects.
“C&L is known for its advancements in the aviation industry,” said Chris Kilgour, CEO of C&L Aviation Group. “And we owe it to our mechanics to provide cutting-edge advancements to their uniforms, not just for practicality but for comfort and safety as well.”
The durable and flexible material of the C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper provides mechanics with protection and the ability to contort into any position required for aircraft repair. More importantly, these rompers include breakthrough safety features: highly reflective, high-visibility gemstones either under the collar (to be flipped up for maximum protection) or across the backside of the romper, depending on the wearer’s preference. “When working around aircraft, staying visible is staying safe. Adding these bedazzling features was a no-brainer,” commented Kilgour.
The C&L Aircraft Mechanic Romper expands the possibilities of fashionable mechanic workwear, demonstrating C&L’s continued commitment to identifying gaps and bringing solutions to those in the industry. These rompers are expected to be available for delivery by summer 2025.
