Piet Buys Joins C&L as Technical Representative

Buys’ technical expertise will be an asset to C&L customers requiring assistance with aircraft disassembly, pre-purchase inspections, and purchasing aircraft parts.

BANGOR, Maine – Piet Buys has joined C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, as a Technical Representative, specializing in ATR 42/72, ERJ 135/145/170/175/190/195, Q400, and Challenger aircraft. C&L’s customers can now leverage Buys’ wealth of knowledge for any technical support needs.

Buys’ extensive background in aviation engineering and maintenance will be a resource for C&L’s customers to assist with aircraft inspections, deliveries and acceptance, management of aircraft, part-out projects, on-site representation during heavy checks, and technical assistance, including borescope inspections across various aircraft platforms. He has also developed strong relationships with African regional airlines during his decades of experience with Cemair, Solenta Aviation, The Airplane Factory, Astra Operations, S.A. Express Airways, and more.

Buys is based in South Africa and will travel Worldwide to meet customer needs.
