Billie Hayes combines his passion for sewing with his desire to create innovative aircraft interior designs in his role as Upholstery Shop Manager at C&L. His extensive background in sewing spans over four decades, and he has sewn everything from wedding gowns to costumes and motorcyclist chaps. He later transferred his skills to aviation while working for an interior refurbishment department. He has since worked at two MROs and is proficient in carpet design, upholstery, and installation.
In his new role, Billie strives to make C&L’s interior shop highly sought after, boasting high-quality products and advanced design solutions. For Billie, any challenge provides the opportunity to learn and find unique approaches, stating, “If it hasn’t been done yet, let me figure it out first.”
He and his family are new to Maine and look forward to experiencing all the beauty it offers its residents.
