C&L expands its global aircraft parts distribution footprint with strategically located warehouse
BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, has opened a new warehouse in Johannesburg, South Africa, which will be fully operational in July. This location is strategically located between the two major airports in Johannesburg and is a convenient shipping hub for customers in the African region. The new warehouse will support C&L’s established sales team in Africa and will initially house inventories for ERJ 135/145, and ATR 42/72, which will expand into other aircraft types as demand dictates.
“This new warehouse location allows us to more quickly support our customers in Africa, which is a growing market for us,” said Chris Kilgour, CEO of C&L Aviation Group. “This warehouse is yet another step in a coordinated plan we have implemented to establish and provision distribution centers strategically around the world.”
To continue serving and providing better support for their global customer base, C&L’s 2024 expansion has included opening two more warehouses in Wichita, KS, and Leipzig, Germany earlier this year. C&L also has warehouses in the United States, England, Scotland, and Australia.
