What Happens at NBAA-BACE?

NBAA-BACE brings together a conglomerate of industry leaders in business aviation with a focus on the future of aviation. Companies announce advancements and unveil new products, and the Emerging Tech Pavilion displays cutting-edge aviation technology, products, and services. Attendees are also welcome to participate in educational sessions on sustainability and flight safety.   

FAQs — NBAA-BACE 2023

When and where is NBAA-BACE 2023?

NBAA-BACE is from October 17-19, 2023. 

The conference is located in the North and Central Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center at 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. 

The aircraft display will be at Henderson Executive Airport (HND) at 3500 Executive Terminal Drive, Henderson, NV 89052. 

The convention center and airport are approximately 22-27 minutes away from each other via vehicle. Shuttle services will be available during the days of the event, departing to and from the venues every 15 to 25 minutes. 

What are the hours of NBAA-BACE 2023?

Exhibit hall hours and indoor aircraft display at the Las Vegas Convention Center are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Aircraft display hours at Henderson Executive Airport are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.   

How do I register for NBAA-BACE 2023?

To register for the event, visit the NBAA website. 

Badges can be picked up onsite at either venue during the following times: 

• Saturday, Oct. 14 (exhibitors only): 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Note: Saturday badge pick-up times are for the Las Vegas Convention Center only. Badge pick-up is available at both venues beginning Sunday. 
• Sunday, Oct. 15 (exhibitors only): 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Monday, Oct. 16 (exhibitors and press only): 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 17 (exhibitors, press, and attendees): 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 18 (exhibitors, press, and attendees): 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 19 (exhibitors, press, and attendees): 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Where should I fly in for NBAA-BACE?

Private aircraft can fly into Henderson Executive Airport (HND). Reservations should be made on the HND website. Fuel, oxygen, lavatory, water, catering, and taxi services are available at the HND. 

Where should I stay for NBAA-BACE 2023?

NBAA-BACE, in partnership with onPeak, offers convenient hotel options at discounted prices. You can make reservations through onPeak and choose from a wide selection of local hotels. 

Reserve your rooms early to get the best location, either within walking distance or only a quick Uber ride away from the venues. 

What should I wear to NBAA-BACE 2023?

NBAA-BACE is a professional event and requires business attire for all attendees and exhibitors, including personnel working on behalf of any of the exhibitors. 

Coat and bag check is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center for a fee. Coat and bag check is not available at Henderson Executive Airport.   

Can I bring the family to Las Vegas for NBAA-BACE 2023?

Las Vegas is a great place to bring the family to enjoy sightseeing and live entertainment. Keep in mind, however, that children under 12 years of age are not permitted at the convention center or aircraft display. Children between the ages of 12 and 17 may enter the venues, provided they have registered and display a badge. 

The NBAA has something to do with basketball, right?

No, NBAA stands for National Business Aviation Association. No basketballs here.

Prioritizing Your Time at NBAA-BACE 2023

Determine Your Goals

What knowledge do you want to gain or contacts to make while at the conference? Determining your goals ahead of time will assist you in organizing your itinerary for the event. 

Make a Game Plan

Once you know what goals you want to achieve while at the conference, review NBAA-BACE’s registered exhibitors and list of educational sessions to determine what opportunities are the most relevant to you. 

Narrow your list down to 10 must-see exhibitors to visit, and write down 1-2 goals you have for visiting each booth to keep you on task. Then pull up a copy of the exhibition floor map on your phone (or print a copy). Note the companies and session locations you want to see and determine the order in which you will visit them. 

Set Meetings Ahead of Time

If you have a long list of people you’d like to talk to and only a limited amount of time, call or email the people on your list before the event to schedule an appointment. Keep in mind that it’s more productive to meet with people earlier than later. 

You may also schedule meetings outside of the conference, such as over dinner. 

Connect on Social Media

Consider following NBAA on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, and share your own experiences with the event hashtag, #NBAA2023. 

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Conferences are a great way to make new connections. This might mean stepping out of your comfort zone. Sit next to people you don’t know. Visit booths and introduce yourself. When you return home, put all those business cards to good use and follow up with your new acquaintances. Then, they will be familiar faces at the next conference. 

Attend Education Sessions

It’s important to always be learning, and educational sessions are a great way to stay on top of the latest innovations and ideas in the industry. Panel discussions also offer an inherent opportunity to connect with fellow decision-makers and leaders. 

Share What You Learned

While at the conference, take a few moments to jot down any key takeaways from a session or insightful conversation. Later, you can write more detailed notes, strategize how you will implement what you have learned, and share what you learned at the conference with your colleagues at the office.
