C&L Aerospace Purchases E190 Aircraft for Teardown

Inventory will be added to C&L’s existing ERJ 170/190 parts inventory.

BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, has purchased an E190 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital. This complete aircraft is currently being disassembled in Portugal and parts from this aircraft will join C&L’s growing E170/190 inventory at the company’s main headquarters in Bangor, Maine.

“C&L has been investing in our E170/190 offerings for several years now with this, the third such aircraft we have purchased for disassembly,” said Chris Kilgour, CEO of C&L Aviation Group. “We support operators around the world in a variety of ways, including spare parts supply and exchanges to power-by-the-hour programs and consignment inventories. We also add value by assisting operators with inventory management and component repair.”

As with all of C&L’s inventory, these parts will be inspected and made ready for sale. The process includes photographing and barcoding each part and corresponding documentation and sending viewable links on all customer quotes which promotes more transparency during the buying process.

C&L previously purchased and disassembled two E170 aircraft whose parts are also available for purchase.
